This is a walk through the Espino Blanco Biological Reserve which is located in Verbena Norte, 8 km north of Turrialba City, 1100 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l). This reserve is devoted to conservation of flora and fauna of the region. The site has eight trails in the midst of an impressive primary forest where you will observe some mammals and watch different bird species together with abundant flora diversity!
This hiking tour is lead by a local guide who knows the area and who will give you important information as you walk on the trails, making this a more enriching tour!
